A aula de hoje, é sobre Present perfect simple.

PRESENT PERFECT SIMPLE

due to many ways of defining the Present perfect simple, we will present down some its various usage into its definition/ Devido a vários formas de definição do presente perfeito, passamos abaixo suas formas de uso dentro de definição.

USE

* For actions that happened at an unspecified time in the past/ Para ações que aconteceram num não específico tempo do passado.

Eg. They have arrived in Spain/ eles chegaram na Espanha.

 * For past actions that have a result which is obvious or important in the present/ Para ações do passado que o resultado é óbvio ...

Eg. They have polluted the river/ eles poluiram o rio

Eg. You’ve spilt the coffee all over my trousers!/ você lançou o café nas minhas calças

* For recently completed actions, often with just/ acções recentemente completas, frequentemente com " Apenas"

Eg.The film’s just started./ o filme acabou de começar

 * To refer to a period of time that has not finished yet/ Referir um período de tempo nao acabado

 Eg . We’ve built twenty schools this year./ construímos 20 escolas neste ano.

 * For general experiences, often with before, ever and never./ experiencias gerais, frequentemente com antes, sempre e nunca

Eg. Have you ever seen an elephant?/ alguma vez viu um elefante?

Eg . We’ve never been to Australia./ Now nunca estivemos na Austrália

Eg. She’s never flown before./ Ela nunca voou antes

*  For actions, events or situations that began in the past and continue in the present, often with for and since/ Para ações, eventos ou situações que começaram no passado e continuam no presente, frequentemente com Por e Desde

Eg They have lived here for six years./ Eles viveram cá por 6 anos.

Eg. Mr Edwards has worked here since 2009./ Mr Edwards trabalou aqui desde 2009

* with the following words: already, yet, recently, often, still/ para as seguintes palavras: já, ainda, recentemente, frequentemente, continua.

Eg. The rain has already destroyed the crops./ A chuva já destruiu as colheitas

Eg. we still haven’t discovered life on other planets./ Continuamos sem descoberta da vida noutros planetas

Eg. They haven’t finished the project yet./ They não terminaram o projecto ainda.

STRUCTURE

#AFFIRMATIVE

Subject + verb present + past participle + object

Eg. They are done/ Eles acabaram

# QUESTION

I am/ are/is/ have/has/ + subject + past participle + object

Eg. Have you gone to ingland?/ Foste a  Inglaterra?

I am not/Aren't/isn't/haven't/hasn't + subject + past participle + object

Eg. Haven't you finished he work yet? / Ainda não terminou o trabalho?

OR Eg. Have you not finished the work yet/ não terminou o trabalho ainda?

#NEGATIVE

subject + I am/are/is/have/has + not + past participle + object

Eg. I have not received the tickets so far!/ até então não recebi nenhum cartão.

Eg. They have not been to London before/ eles nunca estiveram em London antes.
